  • Make public speeches at school events, such as introducing performances and celebrations.
  • Welcome visitors and provide tours of the school during open days and special events.
  • Present awards and speak during school assemblies.

How were they selected?

The selection process for Head Boy and Head Girl is designed to identify pupils who will represent Place Farm with confidence and enthusiasm.

Applicants are invited to attend a panel interview with senior members of staff, where they discuss why they believe they would be successful in the role. Shortlisted candidates may then be asked to write and deliver a speech to pupils in Years 4 and 5 before the final decision is made.

Recognising Our School Leaders

Our Head Boy and Head Girl proudly wear a special badge so that they can be easily identified around the school. They play an important part in school life and help promote the values and aspirations of Place Farm Primary Academy.
